WE'RE BACK for our 6th anniversary! It's sure been a while, but unfortunately, we won't be going back to Blue Springs due to their renovation until end of 2025. Meanwhile, we'll be hosting here or somewhere else later on through the summer. Hope we can make a poll to vote very soon for those plans.
Here are some details at Wekiva Island, be sure not to get confused with the other park Wekiva Springs. Sometimes the GSP may say wrong so I suggest following the address in this page event.

Located just north of Orlando, our indoor/outdoor recreation complex is the best place to enjoy Florida’s natural springs. We invite you to experience the pristine Wekiva River and its year-round wildlife by canoe, kayak, or paddleboard. Our spacious 2,000-square-foot area also offers many activities for landlubbers, like volleyball, cornhole, and a picturesque boardwalk that overlooks the river. Unwind with daily drink specials at The Tooting Otter craft beer and wine bar, enjoy a bite to eat at Without A Paddle Café, or shop for uniquely Floridian gifts and souvenirs at the General Store. Cabana rentals are available for group outings and celebrations of all kinds.

**ADVISE** highly recommend to come early, otherwise will be pack later in the early morning, they go base on the parking lot space and once it full they won't let any cars in from 10 to 12 or 1pm. Unless you can park at Publix which is down the street then walk down but first be at the entrance to ask if it ok to WALK IN. If yes, then leave car at Publix parking. However, they might say no walk in then wait til noon for more updates.
The beautiful vistas within The Wekiva Springs State Park offer a glimpse of what Central Florida looked like when Timucuan Indians fished and hunted these lands. Just one hour from most Central Florida attractions, Wekiva Springs offers visitors the opportunity to relax in a natural setting, enjoy a picnic, or take a swim in the cool spring. Canoeists and kayakers can paddle along the Wekiva River and Rock Springs Run. If you visit the Wekiwa Springs State Park through their back door via canoe, kayak, or paddleboard, know they have a $ 2-person fee due where you park your vessel.
Thirteen miles of trails provide opportunities for hiking, bicycling, and horseback riding. Options for camping include a full-facility campground and primitive camping areas.

Please note: Food and outside beverages are strictly prohibited unless you have rented a Cabana. Alcohol is never allowed in the parking lot or on the river.
