We know you're all fired up to see the new format for the Escalation League, and we've got some exciting changes to scoring that are going to make things not just easier to track, but way more rewarding – especially for those heroic catch-up games. But before we dive into the nuts and bolts of battle points and leaderboards…
Let’s talk about PRIZES. GLORIOUS. PRIZES. And how you can help bring them to the battlefield.
🚨 Introducing the Emerald Militia! 🚨
(Yeah, we weren’t going to call it “paid” or “premium” – that’s not grimdark enough.)
Starting in June, you’ll have the option to join the league as a Emerald Militia member – a lauded protector of the haven whose entry fee goes directly into building an epic Prize Pool. And get this: 100% of that pool comes right back to the players. No admin skim, no nonsense – just more rewards for more blood, glory, and tactical genius on the tabletop.

A full set of Stratagem Cards to keep your tactics tight and your memory sharp.
Access and eligibility to the growing prize pool.
Motivation to stick with the campaign all the way to the final showdown.
💰 Cost? Just $10/month.
Want to go all in from the start? Pay for the full 6 months up front and Emerald Haven will throw in an extra $5 to the prize pool – FREE BONUS LOOT for the whole squad!
Even better – The lion’s share of your entry comes back to you as a gift card to the store on wrap day with a small tithe going to the Imperium’s bureaucracy err prize pool! This gift card denotes your participation and is based on every month that the entry fee was paid and 2 games played. And at the Wrap Day Finale, when we crown champions and honor the fallen, there’ll be a 10% discount on all GW products in-store for league players. Wrap day will be Saturday December 6th at Noon.
Prizes will be awarded for:
- Top league points
- Sportsmanship (As voted by the players)
- Best Hobby
- Bottom of League (with a minimum of 9 games played)

Joining the Emerald Militia is totally optional. Playing in the Escalation League has always been – and will always be – free to join and enjoy. We’re all about building the community and getting people rolling dice, no matter your what! The Warlord option is just a way to supercharge the experience and bring some sweet loot to the table.
So gear up, rally your forces, and get ready to join the ranks of the great leaders (or the noble freeblades!).
This is going to be the biggest, baddest Escalation League yet.
