For our next LYNX Lez Movie & Mingle Night we'll be screenig Mosquita y Mari and we are beyond thrilled to announce the filmmaker, writer/director, Aurora Guerrero will be joing us JUNE 12, 2025 at Adelitas Revenge Gifts y Mas, Long Beach!

When Yolanda meets her new neighbor Mari, she only sees their differences. As the only child of immigrant parents, she only has to worry about her grades. Mari, on the other hand, is streetwise and has to help her family keep their heads above water. Despite their differences, the two quickly become friends. When Mari is threatened with expulsion from school, Yolanda decides to help Mari by giving her extra lessons. Their bond grows stronger and turns out to be more complicated and sensual than expected. They get lost in a world of unspoken desires, furtive glances and insecure feelings. However, the pressure from their families clashes with their new feelings and forces them to choose between their obligations and each other.

We screen lesbian+ films every* 2nd Thursday of the month.
