Tiger Moth + The Dan Spanner Trio at Jamboree

On Friday July 25th we welcome Tiger Moth back to Jamboree, playing their wild mix of world Gypsy folk punk, ranging from Balkan, Middle Eastern and Hispanic to Swing, often at dizzying speed. Expect a bass and horn-driven blast of brilliant madness!

The band take a range of music from across the world and set it to lyrics that teach you about a heroic Soviet submarine commander, the biomechanics of a hummingbird and a detailed explanation as to why we get red skies.

In support is Spanner Jazz Punks and Spanner Big Band leader Dan Spanner, tonight playing with his trio. Expect psychedelic modal improvisations over rocky dance grooves, and unique punk trance with heavily affected sax and ‘out there’ poetry.
