Two sessions dedicated to a facilitated exploration of traditional Bangladeshi nakshi kantha embroidery motifs as powerful storytelling tools.
First, an intergenerational and cross-cultural storytelling and embroidery workshop for children and adults. This will be followed by a presentation of the two-sided Nakshi Kantha story prompt, created by artists Ibraheem Paling (Moonless Night) and Kazi Istela Imam (Full-Moon Night), and beautifully stitched by women in Shatkira under the guidance of Sraboni Mohalder
⭐ The story prompt will then be brought to life through the creation of new stories!
