SUSTAINABLE FISHERIES IN THE FAROE ISLANDS

Join us for the special event, Sustainable Fisheries in the Faroe Islands, organised in collaboration with the Ministry of Fisheries in the Faroe Islands and the Fishmonger's Company, with support from the Faroese seafood sector.

Minister of Fisheries, Jóhan Christiansen, will give a keynote address, followed by expert presentations highlighting management , research and innovation in Faroese fisheries, as well as international cooperation on conservation and management of fisheries resources.

Shetland-based sustainable fisheries expert and writer, John Goodlad, author of the new book Food from the Sea, will moderate the seminar.

The Showcase Seafood Reception will feature an exciting selection of buffet dishes from quality Faroese seafood, prepared by renowned Faroese chef, Gutti Winther.
