About the event

stand in front of the world and weep: on sentimentality in poetry
A free, two-hour workshop exploring sentimentality, oversized feelings, and heart exploding moments in poetry.

About this Event

As part of the workshop, we'll read some poems, share ideas, and complete some writing exercises. There'll be a chance to share your work but never any pressure to do so! Writers of all levels of experience welcome.

Please bring a notebook and pen/pencil or laptop, whatever you're comfortable writing with (we'll have spare pens on hand).

The space is fully wheelchair accessible with gender neutral toilets.
