Speaker Spotlight: Edward Griffiths

Edward Griffiths has worked in and around elite sport for more than 40 years, notably as CEO of SA Rugby during the nation-building 1995 Rugby World Cup and CEO of Saracens during the club’s transformation from also-rans to serial champions. He also worked on four major event bids and the Organising Committee of the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

Born in Zimbabwe and brought up in England, he started his career as a sportswriter and has written 26 published titles.

Griffiths now runs a boutique sports agency, managing the careers and lives of 24 elite athletes, including AB de Villiers.
