RECLAIMING SPACE: Queer Space

RECLAIMING SPACE is a series of three screening events alongside Four Corners' exhibition, 'A Story of Squatters'. The series explores themes of Queer, green, migrant and feminist spaces, and the intersections in-between them.

Kicking off our mini-series, this jam-packed evening of four shorts investigates the importance of exclusively Queer, Black and Asian spaces in the 1980s and 90s; Gays the Word bookshop; and the daily life of a gay photographer in Brixton; an exploration of South London's gay squatting scene of the 1970s; and a response to filmmaker and Four Corners' co-founder Ron Peck's film Nighthawks.

Topher Cambell (Director of The Homecoming) will introduce his film.
