Join us to celebrate Peru's birthday, El 28!!
It's that time of the year when Peru celebrates one more year as a Republic, an important date that deserves a proper party. This year we are taking over once more the uber-cool Paper Dress Vintage at the heart of trendy Hackney for an evening of world-beats and latin-american controlled chaos featuring LIVE music by Manzana Tropical (psychedelic cumbia) and DJ sets from DJ Sudaka (Southern Exposure). Expect the usual informal and friendly atmosphere, delicious Peruvian food and those curiously strong Pisco cocktails.
We'll start proceedings on Monday afternoon (5pm) with Pisco cocktails and DJ sets, complemented with mouth-watering Peruvian treats. LIVE music will kick off at 8:30pm featuring psychedelic cumbia mavericks Manzana Tropical.
* 5pm: Party begins - food stalls, bar & music by DJ Sudaka.
* 8:30pm: Club night starts with live sets from Chicha mavericks Manzana Tropical (psychedelic cumbia).
Food: Lamb Seco, Pork sandwich, Papa a la Huancaina and our old friend Causa.
