Celebrating the launch of issue #2 with an evening of readings, music, drinks and copies of Pina.
6 to 9pm, with readings taking place at 7.30pm
We are delighted to be joined by Troy Onyango and Gabriela Román González, who will be reading excerpts from the short stories commissioned for issue # 2. Our authors, Rémy Ngamije and Portia Subrán, are based in Namibia and Trinidad and Tobago (respectively), and we are honoured to have Troy and Ayanna stepping in to read excerpts of their stories during the evening.
There'll be music, courtesy of our Deputy Editor Bitsy Knox, and special Pina cocktails from our sponsor X Muse Vodka.

Troy Onyango is a London-based writer and editor from Kisumu, Kenya, and the founder of Lolwe, a Pan-African literary and arts platform. He is a judge for the 2026 International Booker Prize.
Gabriela Román González is a curator, researcher and strategist working across contemporary art and cultural organisations. She is the founder of Not The Owners and Mentoras Creativas and serves as Head of Programmes at CASA Festival in London.
Pina is an exhibition space in-print. Each issue commissions two artists to make solo exhibitions in sixty pages, and pairs these with short stories.
Issue #2 includes exhibitions by Edgar Calel and Forensic Architecture, conversations with Lisette Lagnado and between Eyal Weizman, Agata Nguyen Chuong, Zoé Samudzi and Irmgard Emmelhainz, and short stories by Portia Subran and Rémy Ngamije.
