Peter Murray's Charity Routemaster tour of West London

Peter Murray OBE will host the tour in a restored Routemaster bus of development hotspots in West London with guides from the teams delivering change to raise money supporting the education of school children in the built environment, architecture, construction and their potential as careers through the Temple Bar Trust.

Earls Court is currently the largest redevelopment scheme in central London. At 44 acres, the masterplan promises 4,000 new homes alongside three cultural venues and 20 acres of public realm. Developers are Earls Court Development Company a joint venture between Delancey and TfL. Studio Egret West and Hawkins\Brown are leading the masterplan, with landscape design by SLA.

The Bollo Lane project will deliver 900 new homes, with 50 per cent affordable. Barratt London is TfL's joint venture partner. On a tight site, the scheme encompasses new public spaces, enhanced pedestrian and cycling routes, and commercial opportunities for local businesses.

Designed by HOK, the master plan features buildings ranging from 4 to 25 stories.

Imperial College London established its White City Campus to expand research capabilities and foster collaboration between academia and industry. The campus hosts cutting-edge research facilities, incubators, and entrepreneurial spaces, attracting global talent and investment.

Old Oak Common station is the 'super-hub' of the HS2 project. The station features 14 platforms—six dedicated to high-speed trains and eight for conventional services like the Great Western Main Line, Heathrow Express, and the Elizabeth Line.

Surrounding the station, plans include public parklands with gardens, trees, and wetlands, promoting community engagement and environmental sustainability.

The broader redevelopment of the Old Oak Common area encompasses the creation of 25,000 new homes and 56,000 jobs,
