Periscopi Invertit ft. Clara Sanabras: Catalan Latin, Jazz & Funk

Performing their debut album, Periscopi Invertit, led by Catalan bassist and composer Mireia Carbonell, blend folk traditions with London’s jazz, funk, and Latin sounds, joined by special guest Clara Sanabras.

Periscopi Invertit reimagines traditional Països Catalans folk melodies through the vibrant sounds of London’s jazz, funk, and Latin music scenes. For this special launch, they are joined by acclaimed Catalan singer-songwriter Clara Sanabras, whose distinctive voice and artistry open new dimensions to the music as she shares her original songs.

Together, Periscopi Invertit and Clara Sanabras weave ancient Catalan folk traditions with Mediterranean rhythms, contemporary jazz harmonies, and infectious funk and Latin grooves, a rich, soulful fusion where heritage meets innovation.
