Make a Paper Lampshade at Muswell Hill Creatives Make & Mend Festival

At this workshop, everyone ​goes home with a beautiful and totally unique paper lampshade which will brighten up your home whether the lights are on or off.

Ros will provide a huge variety of paper for you to choose from to create a collage design of your own on one piece of A4 card. The colour and style options of creating a design with paper are infinite! We've seen floral designs, bird designs and so many more. Once you're happy with your design, Ros will scan the design and print it onto five panels of special paper. You'll then assemble your Papershade using two wheel-shaped supports which fit onto table lamps and room lights and it's ready to take home.

Suitable for any age (with adult supervision for under 12s).

On Saturday 18 October, Muswell Hill Creatives will be bringing people together to get creative at its Make and Mend Festival. Guaranteed to be a feast of creativity, take part in a workshop, learn about mending and repairs, shop from local makers and enjoy tasty food and drink. Doors open at 1pm and close at 5.30pm so there’s plenty to do and see either side of your workshop.
