Jiu Jitsu with Strangers

Try out Jiu Jitsu and meet new people at this beginner's class at ARMA, followed by a wellness social!

We'll begin with a fun warm-up, a rundown of a few essential Jiu Jitsu positions, and then have a quick “sparring session” where attendees will get a chance to practice what they learned. You'll then be free to use the facilities (showers, sauna, hot tub) and we'll be socialising the lounge space after!

Wear tight clothing e.g. leggings (no yoga pants or flares)/ pair of shorts as well as skintight compression shorts under them, a supportive sports bra, a skintight long or short-sleeve top. Bring swimwear if you'd like to use the sauna/hot tub facilities.

The session will be barefoot and includes partner work. Having some gum is always nice and remember to wear deodorant!
