Friern Barnet Repair Cafe and reuse workshops

Come join us at the Friern Barnet Community Library for a day filled with fixing, learning, and reusing! Our monthly Repair Cafe is the perfect place to bring in your broken items and get them fixed by our skilled repairers. From small electrical items, bicycles to clothing, we've got you covered. In addition to the repair activities, we will be hosting two reuse workshops, suitable for kids and adults, where you can learn creative ways to repurpose items and reduce waste. This month you’ll be able to create some patchwork pieces. We will also be hosting a swap or take of fabrics, books and household paints, so even if you don't have anything to swap you are welcome to take what you need. It's a great opportunity to meet like minded individuals and contribute to a more sustainable community. Don't miss out on this fun and educational event!

Free refreshments will be available, so join us for a cuppa and a chat.

Parking is free outside the library and on surrounding roads. The library has step free access and accessible toilets with baby changing facilities.
