Dressing The Silence: Fashion as an emotional Archive

Dressing The Silence is a curated space to fashion things, not for the body, but for grief, memories, joys, and the imagination.

This is an invitation to process emotions and create pieces with textiles, thread, and different materials that have no voices: forgotten places, childhood memories, or parts of ourselves we have kept quiet.

No experience is necessary. All materials will be provided, along with light refreshments. Just bring yourself and whatever stories or silences you wish to explore.

The Organizers

Sandra works with photography, curation, and archiving. She is drawn to the stories behind artworks, the narratives, interpretations, and emotions they hold. Dressing the Silence is the result of this journey. Her focus is on creating spaces that share these stories and evoke conversations.

For this event, Sandra is collaborating with Coal Studios, a collective of artists based in Hackney Wick, who are seeking to merge their passion for design and people.
