Cuban Music Summer School in London

Join Malecon Productions for a short summer course on Cuban big band. Led by experienced workshop team Sara McGuinness, Jimmy Martinez and Bil Bland we welcome players of all instruments and singers.

The course will run for three consecutive evenings, Mon-Weds 6.30-9pm. Through working as a big band on arrangements we will learn how Cuban music works, looking at the structure, rhythm and aesthetic of this glorious music.

Backline and percussion instruments are mainly provided. Percussionists can bring hand percussion if you are hoping to play it.
