The park is easily accessible via public transport, with the St. James's Park underground station (District and Circle lines) being a short walk away. Other nearby stations include Charing Cross, Westminster, and Green Park. Numerous bus routes also serve the park.

While there is no parking available within the park itself, the surrounding area offers various parking options

The park is designed with level access throughout, allowing for easy movement for those with mobility aids.

St. James's Park has accessible toilet facilities, including one at the Marlborough Gate entrance that requires a RADAR key.

Please check the weather before setting off and wear appropriate footwear and clothing for the walk. Binoculars are recommended but not essential (we have a few pairs to loan) and bringing water and sun protection is encouraged throughout summertime.
