BECC Officer Initial Training (STAFF ONLY)

To enable BECC Officers to deliver the responsibilities of their role in line with the standardised arrangements.

This course is designed to introduce to BECC staff (incorporating Message Handler, Loggist, Officer and Information Officer):

· The expectations of the role; and

· The Concepts of:

o Command, Control and Coordination

o Effective Decision Making

o Personal Logging

o BECC Roles

o Situational Awareness and Information Management

o BECC Incident Logging

o Handovers and Debriefs

Practical within the BECC
