Around the World In 72 Days: The Story of Nellie Bly

Come and join the Patches as Nellie Bly sails into London! Performing at the Barons Court Theatre on 9th and 10th August, as part of the Camden Fringe!

It’s 1889, and American journalist Nellie Bly thinks she can travel the world in less time than Jules Verne’s famous novel ‘Around the World in Eighty Days’. There’s only one problem – she’s a woman. While writing up the notes of her adventures, Nellie gives us an insight into her remarkable journey and her determination to prove that if a man can do it, so can she.

With her own thoughts filling in the gaps for the people she meets, ‘Around the World in 72 Days’ promises to be a reflection of a remarkable woman with an incredible story to tell. This two person show will have you gripped throughout.
