An Operatic Afternoon Concert

Join soprano Laura Nielsen and pianist Paul Digout for an afternoon of heartfelt classical music in a warm and welcoming space.

Location: New St. James Presbyterian Church (280 Oxford St E, London, Ontario) **The church has Free Street Parking and an accessible entrance**

Dress code: Elevated Casual. A nice shirt and pants, or a summer dress, are perfect options for this event. Since we’ll be in a church sanctuary, please keep this in mind when choosing your attire. Layering is recommended as the sanctuary may get warm.

Admission: Pay-What-You-Can (Suggested donation: $25 at the door).

Praised for her “superb piano dynamic, heartfelt passion” (Online Merker), Laura Nielsen has performed across North America and Europe. She is now preparing to represent Canada in the final rounds of the Hans Gabor Belvedere Singing Competition in Switzerland this summer. This concert also serves as a fundraiser to support her trip.

She will be joined by Paul Digout, a sought-after vocal coach and collaborative pianist who has performed across Canada, the UK and Italy. Paul is known for his musical sensitivity and dedication to working with singers.
