THE SONGS OF TOM SMITH

Songs of TS was created in 2014 with a large pool of musicians across Australia.
Lately he’s been focusing on his characters The Dandy at the End of the World and The Camp Cowboy Preacher. Songs like Camp it Up Cowboy, Truckin’ for Jesus and The Lord is King (He Knows I’m a Queen) showcase his dark humour on topics such as organised religion, masculinity and gender identity.
Performances involve camp and flamboyant stage-wear and entertaining and provocative dialogue to link songs and involve the audience. It’s a wild and exhilarating ride. You just have to choose a horse to mount! It’s always a fun night As it says in his song title, you better choose: ‘Giddy Up for God or Saddle Up for Satan!’
ARCHIE & THE SHUTTLERS

With songs often dubbed "quirky" Archie Shuttler's brand of folk has also struck some folk as “freak”, “alt” and “anti”. Observe him shimmie from silly to serious and back, often within the same song, at waterintobeer
PAPA J

Best known as the frontman of Australia’s crossdressing punk unit Madonna’s Armpits, Papa J also brought the bass-thunder to bands like King Krill, Bromide, The Moonies, and UK indie misfits The Invisibles, as well as sharing the low-end in Abdoujaparov, and Who’s The Daddy Now? alongside Jim Bob and Fruitbat of Carter USM.
Now, armed only with an acoustic guitar, a back catalogue of questionable life choices, and some talented mates for moral support, Papa J is stripping things back for his first-ever solo show. Expect a lovingly chaotic trip through songs old, obscure, and occasionally coherent – plus a few freshly penned belters making their public debut.
