Film Screening: Trail Magic, The Grandma Gatewood Story

Join us to celebrate Grandma Gatewood! The documentary "Trail Magic: The Grandma Gatewood Story" tells the story of Emma "Grandma" Gatewood, the first woman to solo thru-hike the Appalachian Trail. She completed the 2,050-mile hike in 1955 at the age of 67, after raising 11 children and enduring domestic abuse. The documentary explores her historic walk, often told through her own words, and includes interviews with family, historians, and fellow hikers. Film runs 48min in length
