Join us on May 22nd at 5:30 PM for an evening of fantasy, fierce characters, and thrilling world-building as Michelle J celebrates the release of her debut young adult fantasy novel, The Divide that Binds Us, at Lock City Books.

Published by Midnight Meadow, an indie publisher dedicated to uplifting LGBTQIA+ fiction, The Divide that Binds Us invites readers into a perilous world where dragons are a life source and their sudden, mysterious deaths spark a clash between rival factions. Nineteen-year-old Alice Reid’s search for answers collides with the mission of Commander Rio Shackler, a relentless enforcer sworn to protect dragons. As suspicion turns to reluctant alliance, they face questionable deities, a nefarious cult, and corruption brewing in the heart of the monarchy.

The evening will feature a book reading by the author followed by a Q&A session led by Niagara Pride, covering her writing journey, influences, upcoming projects, and more.
