Do you have good quality clothes you don't wear anymore? Maybe they're sitting at the back of your closet collecting dust because they aren't your size or style.
We are bringing sustainable shopping to Pontyclun, where you can rehome your unwanted clothes and accessories, swapping them for things you'll wear.
With a £3 entry fee, you can bring up to 7 items along, excluding items such as underwear, lingerie or ultra fast fashion like Shein or Temu. This is because those specific brands have been linked to high levels of toxic chemicals such as lead and bad quality. The clothes you bring will be assessed and rated based on the brand. We don't accept anything that's damaged, stained or potentially unhygienic i.e. underwear or swimwear. Kids clothing is also not allowed.
Each piece of clothing will equate to a point in the bronze, silver or gold category which you can swap for another piece in that same category!
Bronze - fast fashion brands (any supermarket, Primark, Pep&co, New Look, H&M)
Silver - high street brands (Next, M&S, Zara, Mango)
Gold - designer items and quality high street brands (Hobbs, Reiss, All saints, Mint Velvet, Jigsaw)
After being assessed you will be given a ticket with how much you can get from each category, which after shopping around and finding the clothes and/or accessories you like, you bring to the front to be bagged up. Then, you can go home with lovely clothes and accessories that you will wear, having gotten rid of ones you won't!
Left over clothes will either be donated to charities or resold in bundles.
