Monthly Social Hub - Russ Kitely - Ex Armed Forces Veteran

Hello Marauders -

On the 13th October we have our regular monthly meeting discussing our charity our walks and its vision. We also welcome Russ Kitely an Ex Armed Forces Veteran.

Russ is part of a group aimed at supporting war veterans and raising awareness about the armed services and was formed in Penarth in 2014. The group is named ‘617 making a difference’ was named after the iconic room 617 of the Penarth Pier Pavilion which is a seaward facing observatory. It was named after a commander of the 617 squadron who married a girl from Penarth.

Russ will be speaking to us about his charity and the difference it’s making to gentlemen who are suffering with post war depression and PTSD for example. It will be great to hear his story. Russ will be with us from 10. Doors open at 9.
