Bible Study - I AM the Resurrection and the Life - John 11: 17 - 27

As autumn begins, why not come along on to our fortnightly Bible study, 2.30 p.m. on Wednesday 10th September, in the lounge at Hope-Penuel Pontyclun. We have a good time of discussion as we read a passage of Scripture and think about what it means to us today, and how it related to the people who were there and heard it at the time.

We are continuing our series of Jesus' "I AM" sayings. This week we will be thinking about "I am the resurrection and the life", and considering all that this means.

In this world where there is so much chaos, so much bleakness and such dreadful loneliness, let alone the horrendous ways people so often treat each other, it is good to take the time to think about how we should be, how we strive to be, and acknowledge that we are not there yet, but with and in Jesus we can be.

Why not come along and see. That's all Jesus asked of those around him when he first met them, "come and see".
