Challenge Details
Firewalking is the practice of walking barefoot on hot embers at a temperature of up to 1200ºF (that’s 650 ºC!).
Glass walking is also known as “Ice walking” and is completely different to fire walking. Hundreds of broken and sterilised bottles are laid out, then you place your foot on the razor-sharp glass and walk confidently across.
Date & Venue: Haveli Restaurant and Bar, Pontyclun
Entry Fee: £20 to take on either Fire or Ice OR £30 to register for both.
Fundraising Target: Minimum of £100 per walker
Raise £100 or more and receive an exclusive Hope Rescue fleece headband to keep you warm and to wear with pride as you take on the festive challenge.

*Alcohol must not be consumed before walkers take on the fire walk.
This is a great event to take part in either alone or as a group, and we welcome family and friends to attend, to spectate and cheer you on.

Ideally all participants should be over the age of 11 years old. However UK Fire Walk consider slightly younger if they are mature. All they ask if under 18 that they are mature enough to listen to the training and will require a parent or guardian to sign a form.
