It’s been ten years since the mine closed, and the village is still bleeding. A solitary pub remains with one patron inside, Emyr. Bitter about the past and indifferent to the future, he is confronted by the visit of Simon, an Englishman.

In this bittersweet drama set in the heart of the Welsh valleys, the audience are invited to laugh, cry and sing along to the songs of Max Boyce as we explore the past, present and future of Emyr’s little valley and ask the question:

Where did the heart go?
