Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) – Llyn y Fan Fach & Picws Du

Croeso – Welcome! My name is Ingrid. I am a Hill & Moorland Leader and Lowland Leader based near Brecon in the beautiful Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons).

Join me on this exhilarating walk along the western edge of the National Park, where spectacular scenery awaits us – along with ancient stories and a mystical lake. This is truly one of the finest walks in the Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons)!

The start location can only be reached by car, but maybe a car share can be arranged with me or other participants, if you cannot come by car. Just get in touch and we will find a solution! Note: Well behaved dogs on a lead are welcome to join us!
Is this the right walk for me? My walks are generally moderate and relaxed in pace, with time to enjoy the views, take photos, connect with nature, and explore the stories hidden in the landscape. That said, this walk is 9 miles (15 km) long and includes a fair amount of climbing (around 720 metres of ascent), so a reasonable level of physical fitness will help you enjoy it fully
