Pogovor z McKenzie Wark bosta uglaševala Marko Bauer, prevajalec dela, in Primož Krašovec, avtor spremne besede.

Piše tudi v avtoteoretskem slogu – med tovrstna dela sodijo Dispositions, Philosophy for Spiders, Raving ter Love and Money, Sex and Death.

Thinking about the Anthropocene, technology, and collective labor beyond the limits of traditional critical theory — this is the starting point of 𝐌𝐜𝐊𝐞𝐧𝐳𝐢𝐞 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐤’𝐬 Molecular Red (𝑉𝑒𝑟𝑠𝑜, 2016; 𝑆𝑜𝑝ℎ𝑖𝑎, 2018). Wark develops a “technological materialism” that explores media, science, and labor as fundamental technological forms of life, while reflecting on what kind of form of collective global labor must still be developed in order to build a real future and a real utopia. Instead of high theory, she advocates for “low theory” — thought that grows out of everyday practices, hacks, and collective experiences. The book intertwines historical and fictional lines, from Soviet utopias to Californian dreams, offering a manifesto of hope amid the ruins of history.
