V okviru mednarodnega dneva odprave suženjstva vas Zavod Global in Afriški center vabita na spominski večer, posvečen ohranjanju spomina na milijone Afričanov in Afričank, ki so bili zasužnjeni, ter katerih življenja je zaznamovala čezatlantska trgovina s sužnji.
Dogodek ustvarja prostor za spominjanje, razmislek in učenje ter hkrati omogoča afriški skupnosti v Sloveniji, da širši javnosti predstavi svojo zgodovino, kulturno dediščino in živi spomin.

In the framework of International Day for the Abolition of Slavery, Zavod Global and The African Center invite you to a memorial evening dedicated to honouring the memory of the millions of Africans who were enslaved and whose lives were shaped by the transatlantic slave trade.
The event creates a space for remembrance, reflection, and learning, while allowing the African community in Slovenia to share its history, cultural heritage, and lived memory with the wider public.
