We welcome all current and potential new members to Beyond Listening 2, our upcoming international symposium in Ljubljana that builds on the Budapest event.
It will take place between 23 and 27 September 2025 alongside the To)Pot Festival of Radical Soundwalks. During this event, we will host a special assembly of CENSE members and those interested in joining, where, among other issues, we will elect a new board and discuss visions for the future. The meeting will take place in the morning in hybrid mode, and will continue informally in the late afternoon with open discussions on future endeavors. The event will feature a keynote from Madina Tlostanova, a researcher and professor of postcolonial feminism at Linköping University. She is involved in many projects inside and outside academia related to political art, decolonizing universities and museums as well as feminisms of the Global South.

Location: the projection hall of the MUSEUM AND GALLERIES OF LJUBLJANA, Gosposka 15.
One of the main points of our gathering will be the election of a new board. In alignment with the new statute, we will elect the following roles: Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, Communicator, as well as four Supervisory Council Members.
