Attend our Volunteer Orientation so you can start helping out at Stafford Animal Shelter.
Our trained volunteers assist with dog walking, animal enrichment and socialization, cleaning projects, maintenance, arts and crafts, and events.
Volunteer Orientations take place at Stafford Animal Shelter on the first Thursday of the month from 3:30pm - 5pm. This Volunteer Orientation will cover topics such as:
-the history and mission of Stafford Animal Shelter
-a shelter tour
-what it means to volunteer at a Fear Free© Shelter
-body language of cats and dogs
-hygiene and cleanliness in shelter settings
-animal enrichment for shelter dogs and cats
-how to sign up for volunteer shifts
