Dr. May has a background as a competitive figure skater. Throughout her athletic career, she encountered various complex injuries that were often overlooked or met with the assumption that they would resolve on their own—an experience that profoundly shaped her desire to help others. Driven by the belief that no health issue should go unaddressed, she pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Speech Language and Hearing Sciences from Loyola University, Maryland, followed by a Doctorate in Audiology from Nova Southeastern University, where she graduated as valedictorian. Her personal challenges have instilled in Dr. May a commitment to patient care, and to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others.
