Slavery Remembrance Day 2025 - Walk of Remembrance

We will mark this internationally significant day on Saturday 23 August with a Walk of Remembrance through Liverpool city centre, taking pauses at landmarks of historic significance. Along the walk we’ll speak about the journey and hear from influential voices:

12pm - Event begins

12.15pm - Liverpool Playhouse, Williamson Square

12.35pm - Clayton Square

1.05pm - Bluecoat

1.30pm - Liverpool One’s Sugar House Steps

2.20pm - Masquerade and Libation at Piermaster’s House grass
