The event will run from 1pm until 5pm on Saturday the 19th of July 2024.

We will continue our club tradition of combining some lessons and a fun, informal tournament - followed by a trip to the pub.
The tournament will be a fechtschule, a competition where everyone will hopefully fight everyone, hopefully more than once. It won't be judged or recorded in any fashion, but the winners will be elected by popular vote at the end of the day.
Our visiting instructor will be Matt McQueston-Spina, who taches at Coventry Longpoint. The topic will be Paurenfeindt's staff, so be prepared to play with big sticks and bonk each other (gently!) on the head.
Guests from other clubs are not only welcome, but encouraged!

Sponsorship pot and subsidised tickets

This year, we are offering some subsidised tickets for people who would like to attend the event but whose financial circumstances mean that the standard entry fee is too expensive. We would rather have you at the event than exclude you!
If you would like to apply for a subsidised ticket, please contact the organisers.
If you would like to donate a little something towards the sponsorship pot to help fund subsidised tickets, there is the option to do so in the booking listing when you buy your own ticket. You can donate as much or as little as you like, everything will be received gratefully, and we will make sure that funds are made available to subsidise tickets for people who need a little more help.
