Founder Funding Group Liverpool is back this September with a founder-focused session exploring Investors Outreach for early-stage and growing businesses. Designed for founders who are actively fundraising or planning to launch a funding round within the next six months, this session offers invaluable guidance and practical insights. Founder Funding Group Liverpool is kindly supported by the British Business Bank.

The session will be facilitated by Rupert Wingate-Saul from AXM Venture Capital and joined by experienced mentors who have successfully raised investment, alongside other investors.

About the session

Identifying investors can be overwhelming, with so many options, terms, and strategies to navigate. This roundtable session is designed to help founders cut through the noise, understand which investors are the right fit for their stage and vision, and gain practical insights into approaching and building relationships with potential funders.

~You’ll have the opportunity to:

• Understand the funding landscape and what suits different growth stages
• Hear from experts and investors on what they look for and how to approach them
• Connect with fellow founders on similar fundraising journeys
• Ask questions in a supportive and collaborative environment

Criteria to attend:

1. Be part of a founding team of an early-stage or growing business based regionally
2. Be actively involved in the company’s fundraising process
3. Be actively raising £250,000 – £5 million (via grant, debt, or equity) or planning to start a raise within the next six months

Agenda:

There will be a lunchtime buffet from 12:00 noon. The main session will run from 12:30 pm – 3:30 pm.
