Farm Urban – Aquaponics Workshop

Join Farm Urban at Sefton Park Palm House for an exciting hands-on workshop where you’ll dive into the world of aquaponics — a groundbreaking method that combines aquaculture (fish farming) with hydroponics (soil-free plant growing) to create a sustainable, eco-friendly food production system.

In this workshop, you’ll learn how to:

🌿 Build your own aquaponics system using Ikea bins
🐟 Understand the delicate balance between fish and plants
💡 Discover how to grow fresh, healthy food with minimal resources
🌍 Explore the benefits of aquaponics for the environment and urban living

You’ll also find out about Liverpool’s first and only hydroponics farm!

Spaces are limited – collect a ticket from the welcome host on the day. This is a donate what you can afford event.
