Dust off your Doc Martens and warm up those vocal cords — Choir-apalooza is here to unleash your inner alt-rock legend!
Join us at one of Liverpool’s most exciting and dynamic social venues - Blackstock market, for an electrifying choir workshop where grunge meets harmony. You’ll learn a specially arranged 90s alt-rock medley featuring iconic tracks by:
Skunk Anansie
Radiohead
Red Hot Chili Peppers
4 Non Blondes
Under the guidance of Connected Voices director, Anthony Seaman, we’ll blend gritty emotion with lush choral textures, as we take you through a dynamic two-hour workshop learning the beautiful medley.
Then grab a drink from the bar, kick back and sing along with an acoustic set of classic songs including Nirvana, Stone Temple Pilots and more, before finishing with a powerful and cathartic group performance of the medley you learned earlier backed by our fantastic band.
Whether you’re a choir veteran or just love belting out the classics, this is your chance to celebrate the raw, unforgettable sound of a generation — together, in harmony.
