Born in São Paulo, at the heart of the underground scene, Asfixia Social is a sonic movement blending punk rock, rap, ska, metal, and Brazilian rhythms. With explosive energy and lyrics addressing social and political issues, the band stands out as one of the most authentic forces in the alternative music scene. After releasing the albuns Da Rua pra Rua, Sistema de Soma and Bleeding in the Sun (2024), they now launch Walls Won't Make You Safe, the first single from their upcoming album Mess Bigger, set for release in late 2025, with more singles to be released along the way. This year also marks their fourth European tour, with 24 shows across six countries and their return to the world's largest punk festival, Rebellion (UK). Original and resilient, Asfixia Social keeps bringing the voice of the streets to the world, reaffirming music as a tool for social transformation.
