Comic Art Workshop

🎨 Unleash Your Inner Comic Creator! 🖋️

Join us for the Comic Art Workshop at Livermore Valley Arts on Saturday, May 31, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. This hands-on workshop is perfect for aspiring artists aged 16 and up, including high school students in grades 9–12. No prior drawing experience is needed—just bring your creativity
In this engaging session, you'll:
Transform a one-sentence story idea into a compelling one-page comic script.�
Design unique characters and objects to bring your story to life.�
Learn basic design principles to effectively stage your narrative.�
Create a six to nine-panel comic, from initial sketches to final black-and-white artwork. �
All materials are provided, but feel free to bring your favorite tools like brush pens, Microns, or Copic markers.�
Your completed comic will be showcased at the 2025 LVA Comic-Con on June 28 at the Bankhead Theater!
