Summer Fun Event: Big Rig Day

July is National Parks and Recreation Month! The Windcrest Parks and Recreation Commission has planned a month full of summer activities for the community and visitors. Windcrest will host summer fun days Thursdays in July, from 10AM-1PM, at Takas Park located at 9310 Jim Seal Dr.

This event is Big Rig Day! There will be various construction and emergency vehicles on display for children to observe. Kids will get to learn about the big rigs and speak with those who operate them.

All children must be accompanied by their parent/guardian/adult throughout the events. Drink and snack will be provided. If your child has a food allergy, you will need to bring a snack with you.
