What? is a funk fusion sextet hailing out of the Hudson Valley of New York. Although commonly confused with the international sensation known as ‘The Who,’ What? has been pioneering their own path to success despite being put on second base by Russ Abbott in 1938. The band found their roots in 2016 when Ryan Perrone and Dan Steen met while studying music at SUNY New Paltz. After graduating in 2020, the band solidified their current line-up and all moved in together.
Food for Bears is a tight, semi-acoustic duo out of Conway, NH. A little folk, a little rock, a little singer-songwriter, Haley and Kyle reimagine everything from Fleetwood Mac to Foo Fighters, Maroon Five to Noah Kahan, and The Darkness to Brandi Carlile. When they aren’t grooving, you’ll find Haley and Kyle in the Valley playing with their dog, and the band’s namesake, Koda-bear.
