As the Winter Solstice approaches, we gather in the final days before the longest night to honour the turning of the wheel, welcome the slow return of the light, and gently nurture body, mind, and spirit for the season ahead.
This intimate retreat offers a cosy, nurturing space to pause, reflect, and reconnect before the festive rush — a chance to ground yourself in stillness and warmth as we enter the deepest part of winter.
What to Expect
We’ll start with an opening circle and guided meditation. And then enjoy an hour of gentle, accessible yoga, with Margaret from Fab Yoga. The session is designed to support warmth, ease, and resilience through winter.
No previous yoga experience is needed — all movements can be adapted.
This will be followed with warming mugs of herbal tea followed by Trataka, a candle gazing meditation.
Our retreat will close with a deeply restorative one-hour sound bath, using Himalayan singing bowls, gong, chimes and drum to soothe the body, calm the mind, and guide you into peaceful relaxation. We finish with a gentle closing circle, giving space for reflection and connection.
This retreat is designed to support you as we move into the darker days — offering rest, nourishment, and a sense of community.
