Srila ac Bhaktivedanta Swami Maharaj Prabhupada, is the founder of the modern day western Bhakti Yoga movement. He brought the timeless wisdom of the Bhagavad-gita and the practice of bhakti-yoga to the west, touching millions of hearts. Tomorrow we gather to honor his extraordinary compassion and celebrate his appearance with reflections, sankirtan, and feast.
First held in 1966 at the request of Srila Prabhupada, the Sunday Love Feast has evolved as an integrated celebration of Lord Krishna’s pastimes: chanting, hearing spiritual knowledge, dancing, sharing prasad. Due to Srila Prabhupad’s mercy and inspiration today Sunday love feast are held all over the world.
