Starting Friday - August 1st - Sunday - August 24th we will be showing “old school” favorite movies for afternoon 2 pm (Rated G & PG) & evening 7 pm (Rated G, PG, PG-13, R) movies. You gave us great titles when we asked, so now is a perfect chance to use some to help the Michels family!
Admission ticket prices for a daily afternoon or evening movie of our choosing will be set at $10/ticket (adult AND child will be the same) with 50% ticket AND concession proceeds going to Ty & Katelyn directly to help offset the financial burden they are facing.
HOWEVER, we will also have a listing of movies you may choose to “MULTIPLY the MICHELS MATCH” meaning if you book the movie directly with us, to have on a specific date and time in the August calendar that is still open, you just simply pay the “movie fee” listed next to the movie and then YOU get to set the ticket fee (minimum is $8/though as this is a fundraiser-and that is our current adult ticket price anyway)for that showing AND the % of donation to the Michels up to 75% maximum. (Concession sales -which always includes TO GO POPCORN- will still always be donated at 50% no matter what the MULTIPLIER MATCH % is however.)
So as an example (each movie will have a different price multiplier) :
Shrek (example as reference only)- Movie Multiplier $250 (Aug 10th 7 pm) - You pay $250 at time of booking and YOU choose the % of ticket sales to be 50% of $10/ticket.
Now Aug 10th @ 7 pm arrives, you have 100 people show up. The Michels get $250 (movie multiplier) AND $500 ticket sales (100 people x $10/ticket = $1000.00 payable at 50% = $500.00).
BUT wait there’s more, say each of those 100 people purchased $10 of concessions so that’s another $500 (same 100 people x $10/person=$1000.00 payable at 50% = $500.00).
So in just one show we could help the Michels with a check for $1250.00. Not bad for getting to watch a movie with friends, right? And you can feel good about helping! Together we can make a difference! Can you imagine what we can raise IF we can do this multiple times a day for multiple days just by showing “old school” favorites in the coolest small town theatre ever?!? Did we mention the longest continuously running theatre too?
So, if you do the math, and you fill the theatre for even a few days or nights in August, the Michels will benefit and so do you AND ALL of your friends! All you gotta do is reach out to us!
