MURMUR PRESENTS: Animal Animal, Martian Subculture and Delush

MURMUR presents Animal Animal, Martian Subculture live in the Record Room.

Clare based 4 piece Animal Animal (formally Misvanity, Other Offences, The Regulators, Spunk Bubble, Curse These Metal Hands, Danny Dyer's Chocolate Homunculous, Man Feelings, 13 Bastards) have been storming venues around the country since 2017. After almost a decade together the band have harnessed their live sound in a way that many live bands around the country struggle to. With a tasteful mix of fuzzy , intricate to the point of maddening guitar lines, groove heavy basslines and thumping drums that leave many with prolonged spells of tinnitus after continous exposure (the drummer included) Animal Animal are a truly one of a kind band in the Irish scene and are not to be missed.

On support Dublin based punk quartet Delush will be laying the foundations for a hectic headliner. Bringing their highly lyrical take on the genre, Delush have been taking venues in the capital by storm and have been cementing themselves as a band to keep an eye on. For fans of Viagra Boys, Amyl and the Sniffers and Idles, catch them in a small venue while you have the chance, it may be one of your last.

Lastly, to open preceedings local legends Martian Subculture will be bringing their much more mellow, pyschy tunes to the plate. Similar to Animal Animal, Martian Subculture as a project has existed as a project for almost a decade and while they have been prolific on the recording front, the group have only started playing live again this year and have been quick to gain notoriety in the Limerick scene, selling out venues and breaking hearts in the process. It's hard to pin Martian Subculture's sound to a genre. A 5 piece with a dense, synth and groove heavy sound each song is a different psychedelic experience that can only be seen to be believed.
