Come hike with the 52 Hike Challenge North Carolina Chapter as we celebrate National Trails Day at the Raven Rock State Park just outside Lillington, NC. We will hike the Raven Rock Loop Trail to the Observation Point for a great picture opportunity!
This is a fairly easy trail of about 2 miles, and we will start from the parking area on the right side of the entrance road before the Visitors Center. Hike will start at 11:00 AM and safety briefing at 10:45 AM. This is a popular park so be guided accordingly for arrival time.
Restroom facilities are available at the Visitors Center as well as a nice gift shop and museum. Please be sure to register with a free ticket so we can track attendance for gifts and goodie bags. We have applied for giveaways from the American Hiking Society.
